ROMNEY — Albert A. "Bud" Storms, 62, a farmer and school bus driver, died Sunday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. Mr. Storms was a life resident of the Romney area and was a member of Romney Masonic Lodge No. 144, BPOE No. 143, Scottish Rite, and the Romney United Methodist Church. He was born near Romney on May 26, 1912, the son of Porter G. and Minnie Fifer Storm. He was married to Leota Witsman on May 27, 1933, at Frankfort. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Frank of New Richmond and Joe of Donovan, Ill.; a daugher, Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Bridwell of Romney; a brother, Vernon "Pete" of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Frank Rice of Romney, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday in Romney United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Cain officiating. The body will lie in state there one hour prior to services. A Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Helms Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
